My love of mixing and matching patterns and colors began at age 5, with my first set of paper dolls. I created an endless amount of outfits styling the doll's looks for every occasion; causal outings, evening dresses, special events and weddings. Later, I had years of practice rearranging and organizing Barbies 3 story dream house! Decorating the 8 rooms with fabrics from my moms sewing supplies fueled my creativity!

As a young girl, I would dress up to visit my Grandma in the department store where she worked since the age of 16. Spending the entire day with her, shopping, breaking for lunch in the store restaurant, shopping some more, is where I fell in love with the endless possibilities of styling, shopping and
the thrill of a finding a good deal!

My beloved Grandma, at age 93, still enjoyed shopping and giving style advice. "It’s not what you wear, it's what you wear it with" - Grandma Teddy. Following in my Grandma Teddy's footsteps, I, also at age 16, began working in the same department store. My Grandma’s love for shopping and her talent to put together a few pieces of clothing and accessories to create fabulous outfits, inspired me to pursue a career in fashion.
